SPECIAL PRESENTATION
The Bouquet: Fall, Grow by Erwin Windu Pranata
For Erwin Windu Pranata, gardening has opened up new perspectives as a source of inspiration. Observing how plants can be very sensitive to the balance of nature, he studies them from seed to sprout, to flower and fruit, and how they shed in a natural cycle of life. He believes this cycle teaches us to respect the balance and be patient, opening our eyes that we, too, will continue to grow and develop. As a site- specific inflatable sculpture inspired by this observation, presented by Bibit, the widely acclaimed digital investing app, “The Bouquet: Fall and Grow” invites us to respect nature and its cycle of life.
Gold is King by Naufal Abshar
As a natural element and metal that never corrodes, gold has been highly prized by societies throughout the world’s history. Treasury, Indonesia’s first licensed digital application for physical gold trading, invites the young and talented artist Naufal Abshar to design a gold coin for a limited edition displayed in an installation made of environmentally friendly materials called “Gold Is King”, emphasizing gold’s primacy throughout the times.
We Hear You’re Here and There by Tomy Herseta
The evolving phenomena of social media have drawn not only public attention but also creativity. iForte, Indonesia’s premiere telecommunications infrastructure and B2B internet service provider, presents Tomy Hersata’s “We Hear You’re Here and There,” a spatial sound installation containing interactive elements that reflect the fragmented reality of our digital age, an inspiring call to contemplate our collective journey through the turbulent seas of information, and a reminder of the power and pitfalls of the connected world.
Face to Face by Davy Linggar
Regardless of age, a legend dedicates their time and effort to mastering their craft, producing the finest forms of visual art through human stories. These portrait series feature figures from different artistic backgrounds in art, fashion
and film. Under the theme of “Human and Light,” Davy Linggar creates these legendary masterpieces using Xiaomi 14 co-engineered with Leica, capturing life’s beautiful moments and preserving them in a stunning portrait series for Art Jakarta Gardens 2024.
Luxury Crime (After Agus Suwage) by Sigit D. Pratama/thisPLAY
To offer a taste of an unforgettable multisensory experience, Roca, a worldwide reference in the design, production, and marketing of bathroom products, collaborates with this/PLAY to present “Luxury Crime: After Agus Suwage”. In this installation, this/ PLAY tries to capture the essence of solitude amidst the chaos through the imagery of the fluid within the bath, the scent, the alluring lighting, the loop of flowing water, and the human figure that seems to long for harmony.
